Women’s History Month Campaign
Digital Banners
American Family was expecting “Business as Usual” banners with the same look and feel they are used to. We pushed them out of their comfort zone with original quotes showcased by using bold , graphic attention-grabbing type. AmFam loved it. And bought it. The banners (copy and design) drew the consumer in, driving them to a landing page (not created by RAPP) that centered around fearless women with articles, free webinars, etc.
Social, Print, OOH
What
For generations, women have been inspired to pursue their dreams by their peers, public figures and trailblazers in history. American Family will celebrate these fearless dreamers by featuring graphic quotes from real women (AmFam agents) on various channels: Social, Print, Outdoor, etc., driving them to click through and learn more on the existing/planned WHM landing page.
How
- American Family can post engaging graphic messages of empowerment on social channels — Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Posts can be shared within the platform or by tagging each other in the comments section. Use #dreamfearlessly as well as trending hashtags (#WomensHistoryMonth #EmpowerHer)
- Create TikTok videos and Instagram Stories based on the inspiring quotes
- Print ads can run in magazines that target women (such as Milwaukee’s BRAVA), outdoor media can include: bus stops, taxi toppers, trains, etc.
Additional Concept
What
Throughout Women’s History Month American Family will curate womencentric content to be featured across social media platforms. It will be engaging, informative and fun. The content will drive consumers to learn more on the existing/planned WHM landing page.
How
- Leverage social media to share weekly, digestible nuggets that celebrate women through quotes, polls, and music playlists.
- Use trending hashtags on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for maximum exposure.n include: bus stops, taxi toppers, trains, etc.

What
No matter how driven you are pursuing your dreams, it’s vital to take time to be good to yourself and practice self-love.
How
- Create The “Self-Love Lounge,” a cool digital space for women that can live as its own entity on a microsite or provide the same content on social channels.
Content will include:
- Tips and suggestions for women around improving their physical, mental and spiritual well-being
- Recommendations for podcasts, articles, healthy recipes, skin care routines, etc.
- Feature female speakers who can share how they practice self-love
- Promote the campaign on social media using an American Family custom designed Instagram filter, e.g: Today I’m going to show myself-love by____________________”
